Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Dear Family and Friends,
We hope you have a Merry Christmas and Very Blessed New Year! We pray your home will be filled with love, laughter, and joy during the Christmas time. We are so grateful for our family and friends, blessed by your thoughts and prayers. You are being thought of and prayed for also. What an amazing year it has been, please allow me to share…First news, Doug (Mark’s brother) and Sunshine were married August 6, 2011. We welcome Sunshine, Harley (niece dog), and Brummy (nephew dog) to our family.
Mark loves working at Verizon wireless in Irvine, CA. His job is great! They keep him busy and on his toes. He has had great co-workers, bosses, and friends working with him. Since they have many ways to improve yourself and your career (at Verizon) he has had many training classes and been assigned different roles, which he loves! Mark is working towards being a supervisor. Weekends are busy too, with football, baseball, basketball, and on occasion girls’ volleyball. Mark has been the ‘voice’ of El Dorado (local HS he attended) for many years. He was asked to ‘call the game’ at Santa Ana College. Mark is a devoted husband, father, and friend. Thanks babe!
As for me, I am one busy mom. .. keeping up with the girls’ life is awesome. Home schooling Jessica for 5 years now and sad to say, this is our last year, yikes! What a huge blessing it has been for our family. Love being able to volunteer at our church for different occasions, and I am on the prayer committee. I watch a young child a few times a week, which I enjoy.
Let’s see who is next, I think Rebecca Rose (aka: Becca) She is our youngest daughter. She is a sophomore at Fullerton Union High School, which alone keeps her busy. She participates often in church activities. She also loves going to summer and winter camps. Becca loves music, dance class, and friends (our social butterfly). She is discovering who, what, where God desires for her to be. Becca has been on several short term mission excursions. She has enjoyed working with the homeless (Inner City trip with Jeff Bell). She is interested in behavioral analysis and psychology. God has certainly been looking after her, high school is tough. Thank you for your prayers concerning high school and all that entails. Rebecca =Radical. Exquisite. Beautiful. Electric. Caution. Caring. Awesome! We love you Rebecca Rose and are very proud of you! And remember you are special and God has a plan for your life.
Jessica Lee (aka: Jessi) She is our home scholar, has been home schooled for 5 years now and loves it! What a blessing it is to teach your child and also to be taught by them. So, this is a gal who has a heart for missions. Last summer (as some of you may know) she went to Ireland with Royal Servants. (www.reignministries.org- if you would like some information). One amazing adventure… Life Changing!! God has called her back to Royal Servants this summer, the day she received the letter from the ‘big boss’ Louie, was a GREAT DAY!! She has been asked to be a part of the Nehemiah Team, which is a team lead by the President/founder of Reign Ministries/Royal Servants. Only certain alumni are called back to participate in the Nehemiah Team. Wow! So proud of her! She absolutely is excited about this summer and what God has planned. Jessica = Joyful. Elegant. Social. Scholar. Intelligent. Crazy. Awesome. We love you and are very proud of you! And remember you are special and God has a plan for your life.
Praises: We welcomed a new member to the Clinton family, Sunshine! Mark celebrated 5 years at Verizon! Praise God. I am working part-time. Girls are healthy, strong, and Godly. God has blessed us, provided, and protected our family, Thank you Lord.
Prayers: Mark and I- continued weight loss and heath. Rebecca- as she attends high school. Jessica- preparing for summer mission trip and college plans.

God Bless you and your family.

awesome Autumn

I love this season even though the leaves do not change here in Cali. The weathers does change and it is so nice in the wee hours in the morning and evenings.

Life is busy here in the Clinton house hold. The girls are busy with their studies, church, and friends. Jessica is home schooled and has recently joined a home school group for fun activities. She will enjoy prom, grad-nite, and graduate with them. :) Exciting times.
Becca is an active girl. She has her studies, church, and friends to keep her busy and out of trouble. :)
Mark is one busy guy. Not including being a husband and father, he has his job (which are crazy hours) but he; on his days off has football to announces for.
And then there is me...yay. ;-) I am just loving life and what God has in store. I am a wife, mom, and servant of God.
I work part-time watching a toddler. ..love it. Such a great kid. :)

Well, that is all for now. Sorry haven't been keeping this updated. Will try and come back sooner.

God blessing to you all.

January News

Howdy all. Glad you stopped by. Hope you are doing well today.

Well, first of all like to thank family for their support during this hard times. :)
There are so many struggling these days, sad. We do have a big God and our God cares. Isn't that a song. :) Really though, we would not be here today...Thank you God for your grace, mercy and wisdom.

The girls are doing well. Jessica just finished her finals. She feels pretty good about them except for English. We shall see soon though. We have our meeting with Laura (ES) couple of weeks from today.
Rebecca is doing well at school. She has a new English teacher and the class is getting along so much better. Reminds me, I need to call the school and let them know that. :)

Mark is busy at work (Verizon Wireless) They just told the world about getting the Iphone. :)
February and coming months will be super busy for them. :) Which is a good thing right now.

Me- well doing OK. This chronic pain is no fun. :( Hurting today. Just typing hurts, but need to keep moving. Feeling a bit on the blue side these days..depression is not fun either. (hence the blue ink today)  But, considering all I am OK. Moving forward is what I do.
Starting a new study with 'women bible study'...lots of reading. :) Not sure how our leader does it. Keeps my mind active...which is good. Helps with the depression. Keeping your eyes on Jesus is healing. :) He is my Rock and Salvation. I do put my rest in him. We are reading Romans this spring. If you are in the area. Come visit us Tuesday am/pm at FCC, Brea,CA.
www.friendscommunitychurch.org for more information or to contact the church. :)

Life is good. God is good. Know that we pray for you daily. Thanks for reading my blog.
Have a great, wonderful January.

Update on Mission Trip

Ireland Time

Our daughter, Jessi has been feeling a tug at her heart. She was very excited about traveling with Reign Ministry going to Western Europe. But, God has other plans for her. :-) For the last week, we have been talking and praying about the summer mission trips that Reign Ministries has to offer. Ireland felt just right.
There were some blocks in the way for the Western Europe Trip..God is so wonderful. Some times we miss His signs, His 'hello I am in charge'.  :-) We are very proud of Jessica and her desire to serve God in this manner. She is raising funds to travel this summer with the Ireland Trip.
We appreciate your prayers and support. :) Thank you to family and friends!

Hugs and prayers
